There are reports that this weekend encounters in the English Premier League could be cancelled as -10C blizzards is predicted to hit the United Kingdom.
According to the report, matches on January 14 and 15 2017 may not hold as the Arctic weather that tore through Europe this week heads to these shores.
It was explained that close to 33 people have lost their lives with Italy, Poland, Greece and the Baltic region the worst-hit as temperatures dropped to -30C in some places.
The Met office has now issued severe weather warnings for snow and high wind as north of England, North Wales and Scotland are the most likely areas to be affected with two to five cms of snow predicted.
Tottenham, Watford, Hull City, Swansea City and Burnley will all be at home for their Premier League game on January 14, 2017 while other fixtures will be played on Sunday January 15, 2017.
